Robsack Wood Primary Academy Excel in Science

Robsack Wood Primary Academy have been awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM). This accolade recognises the academy’s commitment to excellence in science education and the significant strides made in enhancing science capital and scientific enquiry within the school.

This is a great achievement for the whole academy, with science lead Mrs Loftus having worked incredibly hard over the last year to obtain the award!

Comments from the reviewer who attended the academy acknowledged the progress and strengths within science in the Academy. They noted that ‘science is in dedicated and enthusiastic hands with your subject leader and there have been many successes, including subject leader involvement in professional development and the local primary science community, the range of scientific enquiry being undertaken, and the independence being developed in your pupils, and the initiatives and enrichment activities being taken’.
